Ivan Ivanchei

I joined the Conscious Brain Lab in August 2024 with a Marie Curie project on probabilistic learning and awareness. My research investigates how people become aware of what they learn in probabilistic learning situations. I examine behavioral, metacognitive, and physiological indices of learning, focusing on what they reveal about awareness of acquired knowledge.

Previously, my research focused on implicit learning, the interaction between conscious and unconscious processes, and the role of affective processes in cognition. I completed my PhD at St. Petersburg State University and held postdoctoral positions at Ghent University and Université libre de Bruxelles.
